Key Message 1: Warming temps into the weekend but with dry 

conditions. Diurnal rain chances return early next week.



Surface high pressure and deep ridging will dominate the pattern 

over the weekend and into next week. Following a relatively dry 

Friday and Saturday with well below average PWAT's and surface dew 

points, moisture returns with southwesterly flow across the area 

along with steadily building heights; 90th percentile heights and 

temps expected throughout much of the period, so temps up around 90 

F is likely each day. Rain chances hold off until Monday when we 

reach sufficient low level moisture for diurnally driven showers

and storms. Diurnal scattered showers and storms are expected 

most days next week with a fairly typically summer pattern in 

place.

VFR conditions remain likely through the 24 hour TAF period.



Dry high pressure remains across the region.  Winds will be light 

and variable during the overnight hours, and out of the 

south/southwest with speeds around 6 knots through the day.  Skies 

remaining mostly clear, with possibly a few thin cirrus passing 

across the region.  With the dry airmass in place, do not expect any 

fog formation tonight.



EXTENDED AVIATION OUTLOOK...Drier air continues to hang on through 

the weekend with mainly VFR conditions expected.  Some increase in 

moisture and rain chances Monday into Tuesday could bring periods of 

restrictions in showers/storms.
