issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

Kansas...



  Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Buchanan, Doniphan and Andrew

  Counties.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars

through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT TO SUNDAY

AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Missouri River at St Joseph.



* WHEN...From late Friday night to Sunday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream

  from St. Joseph occurs. At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri

  River floods property along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 7:35 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early

    Saturday morning to a crest of 17.9 feet Saturday morning. It

    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.

  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
