Initial band of rain showers moving through the area this morning will dissipate by around 0900, with partially clearing skies and a lull in precipitation for the rest of the morning. Showers will increase in coverage again this afternoon as a front moves across the UP, with a few thunderstorms also possible. Expect a wetting rain of a tenth to a quarter inch at the site through this evening. Moist atmospheric conditions means RH will only bottom out around 60% today. Precipitation tapers off by Saturday morning, but lingering low level moisture will again keep minimum RH values around 60% Saturday afternoon.
