.DISCUSSION...Hot, dry, and breezy conditions expected Saturday.

Temperatures will warm into the mid 90s with daytime minimum relative

humidity falling to around 20 to 25 percent by 1500. Winds will

be out of the south and gusty to begin the day. Expect southerly

winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph through the afternoon.



Mostly sunny skies are forecast with a low chance (~10 percent)

of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. We expect attempts at

thunderstorm formation across the higher elevations of the Black

Hills Saturday afternoon, although confidence is low that anything

will survive as it moves over the plains.



Overall, forecast confidence is high with respect to temperature, 

humidity, and wind. While thunderstorm chances are low, should one 

form and sustain itself and move over the spot location, gusty, 

erratic winds and lightning would be the main impacts.
