This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Areas of dense fog with visibilities as low as one quarter mile 

are expected through early this morning, with the best coverage in

north-central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. 



Low relative humidity in far northern Minnesota could lead to near

critical fire weather conditions this afternoon into early

evening.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday

 

Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible in

far northern Minnesota Sunday afternoon into evening due to low

relative humidity and strong southeast winds. 



Strong northeast winds and building waves will likely lead to a

high risk of rip currents Sunday afternoon and evening for Twin

Ports beaches.



Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected next week. Some of

these storms may become strong to severe on Monday afternoon into

evening and on Wednesday.



Hot weather next week brings at least Moderate and possibly Major

Heat Risk Impacts to the Northland. Heat headlines may be needed

on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

Areas of dense fog are possible through early this morning, with

the best coverage along the South Shore.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

 

Hazardous conditions for small craft are possible in the southwest

arm, Outer Apostles, and portions of the North Shore on Sunday

afternoon and evening due to gusty northeast winds and waves

building to 2 to 4 feet. 



Several periods of thunderstorms are possible Monday through much

of next week.
