This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central

Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east

central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast

Missouri.



.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT



Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight. The Storm 

Prediction Center has a marginal, level 1 out of 5, risk for 

isolated severe storms along and south of Interstate 80. Damaging 

winds and hail are the primary risks.



Storms that develop this afternoon and tonight will be capable of

producing locally heavy rainfall. If a storm would stall over an

area, localized flash flooding from excessive rainfall is

possible.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY



Thunderstorms are expected Sunday and Monday. At this time, no

severe storms are expected. Locally heavy rainfall is possible

from any storm.



Heat and humidity will move into the area Tuesday through Friday.

Heat headlines may be needed for Wednesday and Thursday.



.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...



Spotter activation is possible this afternoon and evening, mainly

south of Interstate 80. Rainfall reports over 1 inch will be

appreciated.
