This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and

portions of north central Kansas.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.



There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms 

through the evening hours. There is still some uncertainty with 

the the overall coverage of severe thunderstorms, but if storms do

form, the primary hazards would be hail near the size of golf 

balls and damaging wind gusts near 65 MPH. An isolated tornado is 

also possible. 



Thunderstorm chances continue overnight, and any severe threat 

should gradually transition to mainly a locally heavy rain threat.

The greatest risk for heavy rain from thunderstorms repeating 

over the same areas. 



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.



Off and on thunderstorm chances continue across portions of the 

area Sunday through Tuesday.
