There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms through the evening hours. There is still some uncertainty with the the overall coverage of severe thunderstorms, but if storms do form, the primary hazards would be hail near the size of golf balls and damaging wind gusts near 65 MPH. An isolated tornado is also possible. Thunderstorm chances continue overnight, and any severe threat should gradually transition to mainly a locally heavy rain threat.
