DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible overnight across

far southeast Oklahoma into west central Arkansas. Locally heavy

downpours would be possible with any storms which develop.

WEDNESDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.



EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Daily thunderstorm chances continue Friday through next Tuesday

with the highest chances being Saturday through Monday. Locally

heavy rainfall is likely this weekend and flooding concerns may

develop. Severe weather potential may increase slightly over

the weekend with later forecasts refining timing and coverage

details. Temperatures will trend hotter early next week and

heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees are currently forecast

for early next week across much of the region.
