COUNTY UNTIL 2 PM MDT...



At 127 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong

thunderstorms near Pep, or 23 miles south of Portales, moving north

at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

  Dora, Causey, Pep, Lingo and Rogers.
