FURNAS AND SOUTHERN HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...



At 520 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Long Island, or 20 miles northwest of Phillipsburg, moving east at 15

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Long Island around 525 PM CDT.

  Woodruff around 530 PM CDT.
