...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN YORK...CENTRAL

MERRICK AND POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...



At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Polk, or 19 miles northwest of York, moving east at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Stromsburg around 730 PM CDT.



Other locations in the path of this storm include Osceola.
