SOUTHWESTERN MERRICK AND SOUTHEASTERN HALL COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 AM

CDT...



At 1125 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Doniphan, or near Grand Island, moving east at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Grand Island around 1130 PM CDT.



Other locations in the path of this storm include Phillips.



This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 309 and 324.
