THROUGH 345 AM CDT...



At 259 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles west of Valentine, moving east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.



Locations impacted include...

Valentine, Crookston, Highway 97 crossing the Niobrara River, and

Smith Falls State Park.



This includes the following highways...

 Highway 20 between mile markers 179 and 206.

 Highway 97 between mile markers 131 and 141.

 Highway 83 between mile markers 205 and 222.

 Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 16.
