...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN LUBBOCK AND SOUTH

CENTRAL HALE COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM CDT...



At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5

miles northeast of Shallowater, or 7 miles southwest of Abernathy,

moving west at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Abernathy, Shallowater, and New Deal.
