...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN IRON COUNTY THROUGH

700 PM CDT...



At 613 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Whisker Lake Wilderness, or 9 miles south of Crystal Falls, moving

northeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Crystal Falls, Alpha, Stager, and Peavy Falls Dam.
