...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL PROWERS COUNTY

THROUGH 430 PM MDT...



At 401 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles south of Granada, or 17 miles southeast of Lamar. This

thunderstorm was nearly stationary.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central

Prowers County.
