* At 1242 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Albia to near Melrose to 4 miles south of

  Chariton Municipal Airport, moving south at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.
