FOR SOUTHERN JUNEAU...NORTHEASTERN VERNON AND SOUTHEASTERN MONROE

COUNTIES...



At 846 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Elroy, or 13

miles southeast of Tomah, moving southeast at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe storm will be near...

  Elroy around 850 PM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include

Arrowhead Resort Campground, Dells Timberland Campground, Clifton,

Lindina, Union Center, Johnson Hill, and Lyndon Station.



This includes Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 67 and 86.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread

significant wind damage.  It is best to move to an interior room on 

the lowest floor of a building. This storm may cause serious injury 

and significant property damage.
