...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT

FOR SOUTHEASTERN JUNEAU COUNTY...



At 920 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of

Reedsburg, moving southeast at 45 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

southeastern Juneau County, including the following locations...

Arrowhead Resort Campground, Rocky Arbor State Park, Lemonweir, Dells

Timberland Campground, Yukon Trails Campground, Bass Hollow Rec Area,

and Lyndon Station.



This includes Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 71 and 85.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread

significant wind damage. It is best to move to an interior room on 

the lowest floor of a building. This storm may cause serious injury 

and significant property damage.
