...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT

FOR NORTHERN DAVIESS...SOUTHEASTERN GENTRY...SOUTHWESTERN HARRISON

AND NORTHEASTERN DEKALB COUNTIES...



At 1002 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest

of Pattonsburg, or 9 miles southeast of Albany, moving east at 25

mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 

         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

Bethany, Albany, Gilman City, Pattonsburg, New Hampton, Coffey,

Darlington, Mcfall, and Fairport.



This includes Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 74 and

96.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
