...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT

FOR NORTHERN PAGE COUNTY...



At 1149 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 3 miles northeast of Villisca to 11 miles southeast of

Stanton to 4 miles northwest of Clarinda, moving east at 45 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Emergency management. At 1036 PM CDT, emergency management 

         reported tree branches around one to two inches in diameter 

         were down near Essex.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Clarinda, Shenandoah, Essex, Yorktown, Hepburn, and Pierce Recreation

Area.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
