...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM MDT

FOR SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE AND SOUTHWESTERN PENNINGTON COUNTIES...



At 517 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles west of Flag

Mountain, or 18 miles northwest of Hill City, moving east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Hill City, Johnson Siding, Silver City, Rochford, Flag Mountain,

Mystic, Deerfield, Deerfield Reservoir, Pactola Reservoir, Medicine

Mountain, Redbank Spring Campground, Sheridan Lake, Crooks Tower,

Black Elk Peak, Black Fox Campground, Palmer Gulch Resort, and Horse

Thief Lake.
