...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT

FOR EASTERN TODD...TRIPP AND SOUTHEASTERN MELLETTE COUNTIES...



At 1100 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 5 miles north of Hamill to 5 miles southwest of

Keyapaha, moving east at 45 MPH.



HAZARD...60 MPH wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Winner, Colome, Okreek, Ideal, Carter, Millboro, Mosher, Keyapaha,

Witten, Hamill, Ideal South Housing, Clearfield, Wewela, Hidden

Timber, Littleburg, and Dog Ear Lake.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading

killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to

be struck by lightning.

observations to the National Weather Service office in Rapid City 

via phone, email, or social media, as soon as it is safe to do so.
